Popular casual F&B brand Jones the Grocer has announced another string of Middle Eastern openings as it continues to spread its wings.
Announced by owning brand JTG Holdings Ltd, the brand will be opening two locations in Egypt and a venue in Saudi Arabia this year, as it continues its “swift ongoing expansion in the region,” said the firm.
The openings are part of 23 new sites scheduled to open with franchise partners across the region as part of an overarching target of 200 new stores across the world in the next five years.
Both Egypt outlets are set to be in Cairo, overseen by Raya Holdings subsidiary Raya Restaurants. Both sites will be considered flagships, boasting open kitchens capable of producing the brand’s usual selection of charcuterie products, baked goods and patisserie items. There will also be a cheese room and an outdoor terrace at both.

Over in Saudi Arabia, Naif Alrajhi Investment will lead the new Riyadh iteration.

Jones the Grocer locations in Cairo will open their doors in May 2021, with Riyadh is set to open in H2 2021.
Here in Dubai, where Jones the Grocer is already well established, off shoot brand Jones Social has recently been launched.
