Identification and Alignment with our Vision, Mission & Values – Area Developers must embrace our Vision, Mission and Values and they must have a clear understanding of the mutual goals and commitments necessary for the success of the business.
Type of Corporation – Ideal Area Developers are strong marketing oriented corporations involved in multi-unit F&B retailing or other retail, service or lifestyle related franchises and should have access to suitable locations or have experience in property acquisition and property development.
Reputation & Image – Area Developers should have a reputation for honesty and integrity in dealing with its partners, associates, employees, suppliers, the public and other institutions. Area Developers must understand that a good image and reputation is indispensable in establishing Astons in the Development Area.
Competitive Position – Area Developers need to have a strong competitive position in their country of interest and the capability to develop Astons into one of the market leaders in the Development Area during the term of the area development agreement.
Financial Strength – Area Developers should have a strong balance sheet and be successful in their primary business and should have sufficient capital (cash or cash equivalents) to adequately finance Astons development including the necessary banking relationships to obtain the financing required to develop the minimum number of Astons restaurants required throughout the development term.
