The US coffee chain Blue Bottle Coffee will open its first outlet in Singapore, marking its Southeast Asian debut.
The store will be placed in Lumine Singapore in Raffles City shopping mall and is set to open early this year, following its pop-up presence in Singapore last year.
The brand said the store opening, in collaboration with Lumine reflects “the rich influence of Japanese culture” on the brand. The company intends to expand its offerings in the city-state, including its seasonally curated espresso menu and the brand’s coffee produced with single-origin beans.
Blue Bottle Coffee was founded in Oakland, California, in 2002 with the idea of offering good coffee, roasted fresh and brewed to order, sourced from the finest coffee farms.
The chain has expanded its reach in the US, and to Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and China.
