Italian coffee roaster Caffè Vergnano has continued its European expansion by opening its first location in Ireland.
Located in Limerick, the new store is part of the company’s expansion plan which was announced in May 2026, which involved the opening of 10 new coffee shops in Italy and abroad, as well as the renovation of other existing locations.
The new venue is supported by Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland.
“We are delighted to open our new Coffee Shop 1882 in Limerick, further expanding Caffè Vergnano’s presence in Ireland,” says CEO Carolina Vergnano.

The Vergnano network now operates a total of 203 coffee shops – 154 in Italy, 22 across Europe, and 27 in the rest of the world, spanning 22 countries and 120 cities.
