Los Angeles-based Dave’s Hot Chicken is opening 60 units in the United Kingdom and Ireland thanks to its agreement with Azzurri Group. The first will open in London by Q1 2025.
“When we first tried Dave’s Hot Chicken we were blown away as it makes some of the most craveable and delicious food we’ve ever had,” Steve Holmes, CEO of Azzurri Group, said in a company press release. “We’re excited to bring this incredible brand to the UK and to be their partner in this ambitious roll-out.”
Azzurri Group operates two full-service Italian brands, Zizzi and ASK Italian, a quick-service Italian concept, Coco di Mama and an Irish fast casual Mexican restaurant brand, Boojum. Azzurri employs nearly 6,000 people, serving over 15 million meals annually across its portfolio of more than 230 restaurants and stores.
Dave’s Hot Chicken operates more than 200 restaurants and has sold the rights to 700 stores in the U.S., Middle East and Canada. It will open 90-plus locations this year.
