an impressive track record of 11 years in the market, our operations have proven highly effective. The demand for our brand rights has been overwhelming, attracting numerous invitations and requests. However, our reluctance to pursue franchising stems from our desire to safeguard the secret recipe that has defined our success. We are unwilling to compromise on the quality that our customers have come to expect.

Our unwavering commitment to our mission, which we believe cannot be achieved through our current operational approach, serves as the driving force behind our decision. It is a mission that holds the aspirations of one million individuals.

Moreover, recognizing the pressing need for a standardized and deserving service for mothers and children across Vietnam and beyond, we have embarked on a strategic market entry. With ambitious plans, we aim to establish fifty state-of-the-art facilities in Vietnam and various Asian regions by the year 2025.

2. Where and how did the idea of your concept come from?

During our establishment in Vietnam, we noticed a significant gap in the market for mother and baby services. While there were spas specifically catering to pregnant women, there were no comprehensive in-home care services available for expectant mothers in their final trimester and postpartum women who couldn’t venture outside. Recognizing this unmet need, we pioneered a groundbreaking business model.

We introduced a holistic healthcare and massage service that not only catered to pregnant and postpartum women at spas but also extended our reach to provide personalized in-home care for expectant mothers, new mothers, and their newborn babies. This innovative approach set us apart from the rest, as we aimed to bridge the gap in the market and offer a seamless experience for women during and after their pregnancy journey.

Our vision was clear: to create a nurturing and convenient environment for women to receive top-notch care in the comfort of their own homes. By breaking the traditional barriers of spa-centric services, we revolutionized the industry and brought forth a new era of comprehensive, at-home care for mothers and their little ones.

In the realm of franchising, it takes an average of 14 to 18 months for a franchise unit with an initial investment of 1,000,000,000 Vietnamese dong or more to achieve a break-even point. This means that entrepreneurs venturing into franchising should be prepared for a patient and strategic approach as they navigate the journey towards recouping their investment. While the timeline may vary depending on various factors, such as market conditions and operational efficiency, the potential rewards can be significant for those willing to commit to the process.

8. What was the major challenge you faced in your career and how did you overcome it?

One of the initial obstacles encountered was a lack of trust among team members, particularly those who embarked on the entrepreneurial journey together. Such skepticism created internal friction, threatening the stability of the venture. From its humble beginnings as a small business with just three branches in Ho Chi Minh City back in 2012, CWL (Care With Love) has achieved remarkable growth and success. Today, CWL has expanded its reach and established an impressive franchise network of 11 branches in Ho Chi Minh City alone, with ambitious plans to set up an additional 20 branches across various provinces and cities in Vietnam.

Every business day for me starts off much like any other working mom’s routine. I rise early, allowing myself some personal time to express gratitude for what I have and savor the present. Following that, I engage in exercise and attend to my child’s breakfast and school drop-off. Once I’ve fulfilled my personal and family duties, it’s time to dive into the official proceedings.

I commence by meticulously reviewing my meticulously prepared checklist from the previous day, ensuring that no task goes unnoticed. Greetings and genuine inquiries about the well-being of each person I encounter become my initial priority at the office. This extends to every member of the team, as I value personal connections and take a genuine interest in their progress and contributions. Subsequently, I turn my attention to the invaluable feedback and evaluations from our esteemed customers, reflecting on their insights regarding the quality of our services. Such feedback acts as a powerful driving force, igniting my passion and dedication as I embark on another day’s work.

10. What was your best moment throughout your franchise career?

The most remarkable moment in my career, the pinnacle of my achievements, was when we successfully franchised our very first establishment. It was an unprecedented milestone, as someone approached us to acquire our business model and placed their trust in our journey. I vividly recall the sleepless night before signing the contract, brimming with anticipation. The moment we received our first payment after sealing the deal, I felt an overwhelming sense of happiness and pride for our team’s accomplishments and the foundation we had built over time.

11. Where do you see your brand in the next 5 years?

Over the next five years, our company has set its sights on becoming the foremost leader in mother and baby care in Vietnam. Our ambitious plans include the establishment of 100 state-of-the-art care centers throughout every province in Vietnam, as well as expanding our reach to encompass countries in Southeast Asia, the United States, and Europe. What sets us apart is our dedicated team, consisting of passionate individuals who prioritize happiness and love in their work. From enhancing customer care training to refining service delivery, we leave no stone unturned in perfecting our operations. Our ultimate goal is to create a top-notch training hub for the mother and baby care industry in Asia, setting the bar for excellence in the field. For example, if you have a love for the culinary arts, it may not be suitable to invest in a mother and baby care franchise.
