Founded in 1991 in Chicagoland by 22 year-old Marty Jollette after teaching himself to clean carpets for homes and restaurants, he quickly saw how competitive the general cleaning landscape was. Thus, Marty had the foresight to specialize. A few years into his journey he gained a new customer – a small hotel – and ever since then Renue has been highly focused on catering to the needs of the hospitality industry. US franchising began in 1999, and the passive owner sold the company in 2010. Since then, Renue has significantly broadened its service offering, expanded its customer relationships, pumped more resources into marketing on behalf of its franchisees, grown the corporate support team and expanded internationally.
