Italy-based Rosso Pomodoro expands into US

Rosso Pomodoro, Italy’s largest Neapolitan pizza franchise, is launching franchise opportunities in the United States, offering entrepreneurs a chance to bring a taste of Naples to their communities, according to a press release.

Founded in 1998 in Naples, Rosso Pomodoro has grown to 140 locations worldwide, including partnerships with Eataly stores in the U.S. and Canada. Now, the company aims to expand its fast-casual concept featuring authentic Neapolitan pizza and Italian specialties across America.

“It has long been a dream to introduce our brand of authentic Neapolitan style pizza to every corner of America,” Nicola Saraceno, CEO of Rosso Pomodoro, said in the press release. “Neapolitan pizza is an artform in itself, and we take pride in preserving this centuries old legacy and heritage. Each of our pizzas exemplify artisanal craftsmanship, using top-quality ingredients sourced through partnerships with historical high-standard suppliers. Rosso Pomodoro guests will enjoy a truly authentic experience through the exploration of culture, vibrant colors and diverse flavor profiles inspired by Italy’s most beloved regions.”

Rosso Pomodoro promises a unique dining experience with fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced from Italy. Each pizza is handcrafted using slow-proofed dough and baked in a 900-degree, wood-fired oven imported from Italy. The restaurants will be staffed by trained pizzaiolos, some of whom are fifth-generation masters of the craft.

The first two U.S. locations are slated to open in Denver, Colorado. These, and all future franchises, will adhere to the strict guidelines set by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN, the True Neapolitan Pizza Association) to ensure authenticity.

Franchisees will benefit from Rosso Pomodoro’s decades of experience, streamlined operations, established supply chains and comprehensive training programs.
