Marco’s Pizza will enter the Philadelphia market with a two-unit agreement. The restaurants will be run by experienced pizza franchisee Jack Praizner, according to a press release.
Praizner brings more than two decades of pizza expertise to Marco’s. He started his career as a Domino’s employee and rose through the ranks to become a multi-unit franchisee, owning and operating 12 Domino’s locations before selling them in 2021.
The first Marco’s unit is expected to open in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in Q3, followed by Whitehall, Pennsylvania in Q4 2025.
“After years in the pizza business, I knew exactly what I was looking for in my next venture: a brand with great growth potential and a product that stands out,” Praizner said in the press release. “Philadelphia is ready for Marco’s — it’s a blank canvas, and I see incredible potential here. I’m excited to bring Marco’s to this community and mentor the next generation of franchisees.”
Gerardo Flores, CDO for Marco’s Pizza, said Praizner’s experience in the pizza industry makes him an idea partner to lead Marco’s into Philadelphia.”With his dedication to cultivating future franchisees and fortifying the market, Jack’s leadership sets the stage for Marco’s imminent growth in this dynamic region,” he said in the press release.
Marco’s has more than 1,200 stores in 25 states with locations in Puerto Rico, the Bahamas and Mexico.
