Popeyes will open a restaurant in Bucharest this week with a grand opening celebration Wednesday in the food court of the Mega Mall shopping center, according to a Business Review report.
The brand plans to open more in Bucharest and in Romania as well. It currently has seven restaurants in Bucharest.
“We are convinced that the residents of the Mega Mall area will appreciate the unique flavors of Louisiana chicken, as has already happened with the other openings in Bucharest, Pitesti, Craiova, Buzau, Ploiesti, Brasov, Constanta and Iasi,” Jakub Aleksandrowicz, marketing director for Popeyes Central and Eastern Europe, told the news outlet.
Popeyes has more than 4,800 restaurants worldwide.
