Southern California-based Randy’s Donuts is expanding its international presence with franchise partnerships in Mexico and the United Arab Emirates.
It has signed an agreement for 25 stores in Mexico with franchise partner Todos Los Días Productos Del Sol, S.A.P.I. DE C.V., spearheaded by Gerardo Salgado Cruz, according to a press release. Two locations are already open in Mexico City at Plaza Satélite and Roma Norte.
For the United Arab Emirates, Randy’s Donuts has partnered with Al Shafar Group for a 10-store development deal.
“Our international growth continues to be driven by strong local partners who share our passion for quality and community,” Mark Kelegian, owner of Randy’s Donuts, said in the release. “From Mexico City to Dubai, the appetite for our iconic brand and menu is universal.”
The international agreements are part of Randy’s Donuts’ broader global growth strategy, which includes more than 100 new stores under development in the U.S. and an additional 100 internationally.
Founded in 1952 and recognized for its giant rooftop donut in Inglewood, Randy’s Donuts offers over 60 varieties of hand-made donuts and a proprietary coffee blend, Randy’s Roast. The company has locations in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Las Vegas, the Philippines, South Korea, Japan and Saudi Arabia.
