Smash Burger and Hot Chicken QSR Chain Targets Global Growth with Franchise Expansion Plan

Smacks Burgers has partnered with global franchise advisory firm Presman & Colard to support its franchise expansion plans across the UK and the Middle East, as the brand targets accelerated growth. 

Founded in 2021, Smacks has expanded to 14 locations across the UK, building a strong and loyal customer base. The brand has become well known for its bold, colourful restaurant designs and a menu that brings a fresh take to the quick-service dining space. 

Smacks prepares its food fresh daily, grinding 100 per cent Angus beef patties in-house and serving large volumes of its signature Nashville Hot Chicken, reflecting growing consumer demand for bold and distinctive flavours. 

Over the past year, the brand has experienced significant momentum, with system-wide sales rising by more than 50 per cent to exceed £8 million. This growth has been supported by the opening of new franchised locations in Glasgow, Cardiff, and Brighton, alongside Smacks’ first international restaurant in Motor City, Dubai. 

Most recently, Smacks strengthened its presence in the capital with the launch of a new site at London Victoria, which is currently performing ahead of initial expectations. 

To maintain and accelerate this growth, Smacks has engaged Presman & Colard to help refine and scale its franchise proposition. In the months ahead, the consultancy will work closely with the brand to expand its UK footprint, supporting long-term plans to reach 100 locations nationwide. 

At the same time, Presman & Colard will assist Smacks in assessing further international franchising opportunities, with a particular focus on the Middle East, building on the success of its Dubai operation.
