Tealive to Launch First Singapore Outlet at Changi Airport This June

The brand has over 800 stores in Malaysia, and this will be its first outlet in Singapore

Look alive, people – one of Southeast Asia’s largest bubble tea chains, Tealive, will be landing in Singapore this June. That’s a hat trick for foodies, because other popular global chains like Tokyo’s Pizza Studio Tamaki and Sides by Sidemen have also recently announced their plans to launch in Singapore in two months’ time.

Tealive has a presence in 13 countries and 1000 stores in the Philippines, Canada, UK, Vietnam, Australia, and more. But its largest market is Malaysia, which alone has 800 outlets. Those who cross the causeway to Johor Bahru frequently would be familiar with its iconic purple shopfront at malls like Paradigm and Midvalley Southkey.

Its new outlet in Singapore will be the first on the island, and it’s slated to open in Changi Airport’s Terminal 3 Arrival Hall. At present, there is already a hoarding on the premises, located in a corner unit next to Cheers.

For those who haven’t heard about the brand, the chain was founded in 2017 by Bryan Loo, who rebranded over 160 Chatime outlets in Malaysia to start Tealive. At the same time, new items like the signature brown sugar pearl milk tea, roasted milk tea with handmade pearls and the grapefruit chia tea booster were introduced. The brand also uses eco-friendly strawless cups designed to minimise waste. Currently, it’s even collaborating with Mofusand on a series of snacks, beverages, and merchandise.

Tealive Singapore’s official opening date, menu, and prices have yet to be released, so watch this space for updates. In the meantime, you can find out more here
