Chamber of Commerce and World Franchise Associates discuss market expansion and investment potential
Opportunities for the development of the franchise market in Uzbekistan were discussed.
Davron Kurbanov, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Anton Gladkih, Representative of the World Franchise Associates for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
World Franchise Associates (WFA) is a leading consulting and marketing company in the field of international franchising, the main task of which is to assist franchisors in entering new international markets and provide investors with franchise opportunities for leading brands. Among its clients are brands such as Earl of Sandwich, Fastsigns, Popeyes, Doner Kebab.
During the conversation, the opportunities for the development of the franchise market in Uzbekistan and attracting investments, the introduction of local brands to international markets, the introduction of international brands to the Uzbek market and the development of local franchise companies, as well as the formation of cooperation agreements were discussed.
A. Gladkih emphasized that the introduction of international franchise brands and services plays an important role in diversifying the economy of Uzbekistan, increasing export potential and strengthening the country’s competitiveness in the global market.
The parties also noted that cooperation with the WFA can serve to further strengthen the country’s integration into international markets and open new opportunities for economic development.
