Janat Tea Paris is a French tea house founded in 1872. It became famous at the Paris Universal Exposition in 1889 when it introduced the world’s first oak aged tea and coffee and was served at the opening of the Eiffel Tower.
Being avant-gardiste in sustainability, Janat Tea Paris has developed a community of women working in the tea plantations.
Machiko Gozen, the President of Janat Tea Paris, is a 13th generation Japanese Samurai woman. Her life’s purpose is to bring kindness as symbol of strong
humanity. She inherited the responsibility of preserving and sharing the samurai culture from her grandmother, embracing the Bushido philosophy by repurposing tea as a tool to deliver mindfulness and promote human connection.
For over 400 years, the Gozen family has grown organic green tea in Kagoshima, Japan, and for the past 40 years in Ceylon. With tea bag factories in Japan, Ceylon, and France, they have expanded to four distinct brands spanning Japanese, British, and French styles, and have established a global logistics center in Dubai.
Today, building on Janat’s 150-year legacy of voyages, lucky cats, and entrepreneurial spirit, the company aims to inspire kindness and empathy in women through every cup of tea. This mission is supported by a scalable store model featuring tea rooms, tea shops, caravans, kiosks, and display units.
Sustainable Growing company with strong presence in global market catering all business segments:
