Danish retailer Flying Tiger Copenhagen is set to launch in Thailand as part of a broader expansion plan in Southeast Asia.
The store will open in partnership with franchise partner Index Living Mall in the second half of this year.
Flying Tiger Copenhagen, established in 1995, offers stationery and homewares products featuring playful and affordable designs. The brand made its debut in Vietnam with two stores last year, following successful launches in the Philippines and Indonesia in 2023.
In 2023, the retailer reported a 4.5 per cent year-on-year growth rate and 3.2 per cent in like-for-like sales, with 926 outlets across 35 regions.
Seven new markets were added last year as part of its expansion in Asia and the Middle East, and the Philippines, where it intended to open 25 stores last year, has emerged as one of the retailer’s most important markets.
