Although New York Fries was founded in New York City, its over 130 locations are mostly in Canada and the Middle East. However, it’s primed for a resurgence in the U.S., said David Colebrook, president of LSR and Emerging Brands with Recipe Restaurant Group, the brand’s parent company.
Specializing in a variety of loaded fresh-cut french fries and all-beef hot dogs within spaces as small as 250 square feet, New York Fries reentered the U.S.with locations in New York and New Jersey. Two more are slated to open in Long Island and Jersey City in the coming months.
“The demand and growth potential for New York Fries is at an all-time high,” he said in a company press release. “Since our official return to New York earlier this year, the reception and performance of our new U.S. locations have proven that there is immense potential for our concept across the country. We’re uniquely positioned to thrive in high-traffic, small spaces, and with decades of success behind our name, New York Fries is poised for rapid growth across the U.S.”
The chain is seeking franchise partners with a passion for the restaurant business eager to join an established brand with simple operations that serve a premium product and provide an exceptional experience for guests, Colebrook said. Ideal franchise candidates have the financial means to develop, construct and grow multiple restaurants within a territory and a commitment to delivering quality restaurant experiences to their communities.
