Vietnamese coffee brand Cong Caphe has launched in Taiwan, opening its first store in Zhongzheng District, in Taipei.
The store’s aesthetic is inspired by Vietnam’s cultural heritage from 1976 to 1986, as is seen in its vintage design and menu selection.
Cong Caphe aims to bring a “taste of Vietnam” to Taiwan with various signature drinks, including its coconut coffee smoothie and the original cinnamon pho coffee.
Founded in 2007 by Vietnamese performance artist Linh Dung, Cong Caphe has grown from a small cafe on Hanoi’s historic Trieu Viet Vuong Street to a coffee chain with 80 stores worldwide.
“We’re excited to bring authentic Vietnamese coffee to Taiwan and share the unique charm of Vietnam with our customers in Taipei,” said the company on its Instagram page.
The new outlet is part of Cong Caphe’s broader international expansion, which has seen the brand expand into other countries, including South Korea, Malaysia, and Canada.
